from the Regional Executive Director: The Midwest has long been known
as a "Gateway" and the "Heartland". Illinois author
Carl Sandburg wrote "nothing happens unless we first dream it".
Our dream for the Midwest Region of RFB&D is to be a Gateway to knowledge
for 400,000 students who struggle with processing the printed word. Here
in the Heartland, every student matters.
The staff of the Midwest Region is working to be a part of the dream of academic success for students in nine states. We invite you to let us know how we can partner with you and serve you. - Janet Milkovich
